first of all I like to wish a successful and friendly year to all of you.

For this week (9.1.-11.1.) I like to propose the following schedule for lectures and practical work.

9.1. 1st UE (k31): Continue Systemprogramming practical tasks for those, who have not finished yet.
9.1. 2nd UE (k31): Introduction of porting Realtime OS (Zephyr) to an Arduino device.
10.1. 1st UE, 2nd UE and 3rd UE (k31): Practical work Realtime-System (porting Zephyr).
10.1. 4th and 5th UE (01/221): Practical work Hardware-Software-CoDesign: M. Brutscheck and myself will check the progress of each group.

11.1. 1te UE (01/216): Ãœbungsklausur Maschinenprogrammierung/Assemblerprogrammierung.

Hi,

I hope, that you had some relaxing time during X-Mas. For the module Hardware-Software-CoDesign we have updated the Download-Area. For those, who like to use the Linux based enviroment, we made a copy of the Quartus and NIOS Dev-Tools available. The entire Download-Area can be found here.

If you plan to use the NIOS II, it may be necessary to download the ECLIPSE-Enviroment too. Please follow the wiki by Intel.

Hi,

I like to invite you for tomorrow (19.12. 2nd UE) for the lecture Systemprogramming in 01/322-1. We will discuss some remaining issues and I try to explain some examples of the content of the examination questions.

On 20th of Dec. you have the 2nd und 3rd UE in k31 for continuation of the practical work of Systemprogramming tasks.

For the 4th and 5th UE on 20th of Dec. I like to remind you for the module Hardware-Software-CoDesign to prepare a short (max. 5 min) overview about your current status, problems and next steps. Please refer to the old info.

Mir ist aufgefallen, dass einige von Ihnen mir zwar Ihre Repositories zur Kontrolle freigeschaltet, aber nicht die Lösungen hochgeladen haben. Vergessen Sie auch nicht, mir, wenn Sie fertig sind, die Repositories unter Team „Abgabe“ freizuschalten. Informationen dazu als Erinnerung finden Sie unter „Einführung in Git“ im Repository „Praktikumsunterlagen und Informationen“.

Sehr negativ ist mir aufgefallen, dass Dateien untereinander ausgetauscht und als Lösung hochgeladen wurden. Mir ist klar, dass sich die Lösungen ähneln, aber wenn 3 Gruppen exakt die gleichen Dateien bei mir einreichen, ist das schon sehr auffällig/dreist und ich werde das nicht tolerieren. Das zeigt mir, dass Sie sich nicht zu Hause damit beschäftigen. Sollte das öfter auftreten, werde ich den betroffenen Personen die PVL verwehren (keine Prüfungszulassung) und dann dürfen Sie in einem Jahr noch mal das Praktikum absolvieren. Sie dürfen gerne sich gemeinsam hinsetzen und Lösungen für die Aufgaben suchen, aber der Eigenanteil sollte erkennbar sein.

as Prof. Brutscheck requested in the last lecture (13.12.) we like to get an overview about your current status and effort in your examination work. Therefore we like to ask each group of the module HW-SW-CoDesign to give us a short (5min) overview statement (no presentation required) about your current work, problems and next steps. This overview statement of your work, we will check at next lecture on 20.12. from 4th UE onward.

If you have not prepared this overview statement, we are not able anymore to give detailed support to your examination work.

ich möchte Sie bitten, am kommenden Freitag (14.12.) möglichst vollständig zu unserer Vorlesung zu kommen. Ich werde durch das aktuelle Skript gehen und die wichtigen – für die Klausur relevanten  – Details gehen und Schwerpunkte definieren.

because of some double booking of schedule, the lectures for Realtime-Systems and Systemprogramming will be dropped in this week (12.12.-13.12.). Nevertheless I recommend to continue the practical work for both modules in room k31.

The module Hardware-Software-CoDesign will take place in this week. Prof. Brutscheck will be available.
